Starland regrets that no "NOTAFLOF" (No One Turned Away for Lack of Funds) or "at the door" admissions are offered for this event. Everyone pays in advance. Partial scholarships may be applied for, but are not guaranteed.

Where? Starland Community is located near Yucca Valley, CA, in California's Mojave Desert. Directions to Starland will be provided, upon receipt of your reservation and payment.

How much: Early Bird Discount: $200/person, for the full week (April 26-May 3, 1009). This rate is effective through March 31, 2009.

Daily rate: $40/person, which must be paid in advance. Daily rates must be paid in full by April 15, 2009.

What is included: Daily activities, basic accommodations (tent site, bunk room, or RV parking), Food for meals (vegetarian), beginning with dinner April 26. and ending with brunch, May 3. Each participant is provided with a Starland Bright Star membership (good thru 12-31-09).

Options to consider: Green Cabin (private cabins for couples or more!)—add $20/day. RV utilities (water and electric hookup)—add $20/day.

Donations: Please donate $20 (more if you can, less if you can't), to provide partial scholarships to those who can't afford the full event fee. Donations can be included with your total fee payment.

No cash or "at the gate" admissions—everyone pays in advance.
No day passes will be offered for this event.
Everyone is encouraged to volunteer at least once during the event. Help in the kitchen, or help keep the land cleaning.

Starland is a privately-owned, not-for-profit community and retreat. Please respect the land and the basic rules of the land.

Partial Scholarships:
We offer limited amount and a limited number of partial scholarships to those who can't afford the full weekly fee. Please apply by March 1, 2009. We'll notify all applicants, about their scholarships, no later than March 15, 2009. No scholarships will be provided for daily-rate participants, and no scholarships may be applied to reservations paid for after March 31, 2009.
 

What to Bring:
Sleeping bag, quilts, or blankets, and a pillow.
A couple towels, personal toiletries, soap, etc.
Warm clothing, hiking shoes, flashlight
Drums and other percussion instruments, as many as you can.

Volunteer:
Preparation, Food Prep & Cooking, Dish-washing & Clean up, Event Preparation & Workshops.

Lead a Workshop!... We seek creative, thought-provoking workshops during this Gathering. Our workshops may be themed towards Beltaine and the spiritual blessings of Beltaine, or they can be free-form. Workshop Sessions will be in the afternoons, for 1-3 hours.

Workshop leaders for this event are volunteers, and must register and pay the full or discounted event fee, in advance.
