SPRING FLOWERS
April 25, 2010
Lobo Solo (aka: Matrix) visits Starland for the Committee
Meeting and captures some rare spring flowers.
Pics taken with a little Blackberry phone camera.
California hasn't seen as much rain in a while so "making
flowers" in the desert is pretty rare. All kinds of little green stuff and
little flowers were cropping up everywhere. This pic is from the main house
looking out towards "Goat Mountain." The Main Hall peaking up.
From the house looking towards the main entrance to Starland.
The south side-yard where the little spa area is, the little
yellow flowers were everywhere. The large Palo Verde tree and "Grandfather
Joshua" tree doing very well.
The Cactus Garden on the left side of the entry driveway as
you enter Starland; red blooms on the ocotillo and fuchsia blooms on the cactus.
Ocotillo and cactus, a closer look. The barrel cactus at the
right haven't ponied up their blooms yet, but they will later.

From the Cactus garden looking down the driveway, little
yellow wonders everywhere.
More little yellow wonders.
More flowers later!
